The Choir Production Team concept was designed to add a 21st Century Skills approach to the curriculum of the choir. Often, choir is thought-of as only a singing group. But there is much, much more that goes on behind the scenes to create a production. The students will work in teams to Create, Collaborate, Communicate, and think Critically to produce an event we call the Spring Concert. From song choice to programs, students will work to achieve the most excellent production possible.
Officers are elected by their peers. Students will pitch to the group how they feel they would be best for the student positions. Officers help manage all choir activities and events.
Section Leaders are also elected by singers in their respective sections (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, & Bass). They help manage daily rehearsals, sheet music, seating, and other needs members of their sections may have.
