THINK. CREATE. PLAY.
In Piano Classes, students learn to love to play the piano. But that's not all. The piano is creatively used as a vehicle to get the students to think about HOW they learn. Embedded in the weekly lessons are exercises, videos clips, reflections, and songs used to learn about the human brain and how it functions and sometimes malfunctions. Using music, students learn how positive and negative emotions affect learning. Each of the Go, Learn, Show lessons are tailored for students with a basic, medium, and advanced version of exercises and songs. Once students are ready, they use computer software to create their own musical composition. At the end of the year, the students share their learned skills and developed talents with the community in the Annual Charity Piano Recital.
