Piano 2 Distance learning opportunities
MR. TRANTER'S MESSAGE
Hello Pianists,
I hope you are all safe and strong during our hiatus from school. The Tranter Family is holding up well. It feels like months since we've been in that old cave we call The Piano Lab with the Song of the Day and the year-round holiday lights.
Starting Tuesday, March 31st, you will be provided with Piano Distance Learning Opportunities. I know some of you do not have keyboards at home, so I've provided piano AND music-related activities in case you have no keyboard. Although we are scheduled to return mid-April, potential assignments are provided beyond that time. There are also extra resources provided throughout the assignment schedule.
1. Be Mindful! Don't stress. Pace yourself. "All...Will...Be...O.K."
For your sanity, all piano assignments will be on this single web page.
2. You have 2 days to complete each assignment. The suggested time each day for you to work on these activities is Noon-12:30. To help you keep a nice pace I will send periodic Remind assignment start dates and I will add the assignments to Google Classroom. The assignment dates that extend beyond expected return dates may be used for enrichment or advanced work.
3. Since I will be doing school work M-F during regular school hours, email me if there are any issues with the assignments. Furthermore, please feel free to email me any time if you need anything or if you'd simply like to let me know how you're doing.
We're going to come back stronger and smarter (and more prepared than ever) after all of this! Be strong, find moments of calm, and pace yourselves with all of your work!
See you soon!
